Noodle Races :)
Cortney and Amy at the Riverwalk Sabra and Trudy after floating the Comal
Just us swimming
July 10-13 I went down to San Antonio to see my Aunt Iwana and Uncle James. I decided to make a road trip of it, so on the way down I stopped to see Jenna Sprott. She was my roommate in college and a very dear friend, and I hadn't seen her since the day of my wedding... so I showed up on her doorstep to surprise her! It was fun, and we just sat on the couch and visited for about 45 min. Once arriving in San Antonio I got to just relax and spend some time with the aunt and uncle. Iwana and I went shopping on Friday morning, then just came back to the house and swam and layed out tanning and reading a book. It was truly heavenly! Part of this trip included several friends from high school flying/driving down and us all just spending a great weekend together! We are so blessed to still be sooo close, and it was wonderful seeing them!!! Iwana and James opened up their home to us, and we were just "the girls" for the weekend. We went to Fiesta Texas, dolled up and went to the riverwalk for supper, got ice cream, swam, floated the Comal river together, and enjoyed each other! It was so much fun and here are a few pictures from our trip!
Well... I have officially been horrible at keeping up with this whole blogging... mainly because I am horrible at remembering to take pictures. For example, Dustin and I went to Branson, Mo for his birthday and 4th of July. We had a WONDERFUL time! I took Dustin to a really fancy restaurant for his birthday, played lots of putt-putt, went and saw two show-"Six" and "Baldknobbers", went to an IMAX, went shopping, watched amazing fireworks, listened to the timeshare spill, and relaxed, relaxed, and relaxed... it was great!! You will just have to trust me because I only took this one picture on the way down there :(

(above was 1st attempt) (above 2nd attempt)
Just thought I would share my planting experience this spring/summer! Mom got me this stackable potting thingy-magiger at the Affair of the Heart craft show this spring. I was soo excited, so Dustin and I planted the first group of flowers as soon as spring started. Then about a month ago Dustin was very excited about using the GREAT liquid fertilizer that my dad had sent to us. He sprayed the yard, shrub, my flowers. Well within 6 hours all the flowers were dead as a doornail due to a little tooo much fertilizer. Sooo a couple of weekends ago I planted these new flowers! They look great, and hopefully only water touches them :)

Summer is Here!!! Dustin and I are loving this summer! Mainly I am because I don't have to go to work. This summer we live for the weekends and the time that we get to spend together! We spend the weekends enjoying the summer nights out on our driveway just visiting with friends; going out to the lake in our boat either fishing, water skiing, or tubing; cooking out; planting flowers; working out; and going on trips. This summer we also have a roommate named Zane. He is from Stephenville and this summer he is doing an internship with Cargill. It has worked out great having him and his dog Jaunco live with us. We thoroughly enjoy him, and Dustin especially enjoys hanging out with a guy every once in a while! Well Thursday is Dustin's birthday and we are heading to Branson, MO for his birthday, summer vacation, and 4th of July! I plan on taking lots of pictures and share with ya'll the great trip!
